“As dedicated disciples of cardistry and sleight of hand since 2009 we are recognized for nailing knuckle-busting moves, teaching our original flourishes, documenting Cardistry-Con meetups and, lately, exploring new dimensions in this performance art with our signature ((green cards)) concept. The latter allows you to chroma-key any footage onto your cards bringing them to life and thus creating mesmerizing visuals.
🪐 Ever since our first Z Deck sold out, we already knew that we should take it to the next level. This time, heavily inspired by the 80s and vaporwave aesthetic, we aimed for a nostalgic, retro futuristic look.
🪐 For 11 years we were on a mission to find a playing card design that would really complement card flourishes in motion. Together with talented artists Emir Aličić and Ega Elanda we created Z Deck v2: retro, consisting of 52 poker-sized designer playing cards & 4 ((green cards)).
🪐 This time we wanted to make sure every backer has a chance to get a few ZDV2: retro playing cards at a reduced price. Consistently, this will be a very limited run (about 2,500 decks) with only a few hundred overprints coming to retail shelves. There will be no reprints.
🪐 Z Deck v2 is printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Art of Play’s trademark thin stock preferred by cardists. It is the best option available on the market.
🪐 Fully custom illustrations. Whilst the back design of Z Deck v2 accentuates card flourishes in motion, faces are also unique inasmuch as being recognizable enough to use the deck for magic or casual play.

🪐 Access to the editing tutorial. Learn how to easily chroma-key ((green cards)) on mobile using free apps. Access to the creator’s panel. A regularly updated library of video/animation footage we use ourselves in our videos. Film a 15-second clip with ((green cards)), upload it to our site and let the algorithm do the rest. Within a minute you receive your video chroma-keyed and available for download.
