🪐 From the Kickstarter page:
“Welcome to the first project of the Fast Food Playing Cards. We strive to combine the fast-food culture with playing card culture.

🪐 Hey everyone! My name is Rich Li, and I am a magician and graphic designer from New York City. There are three things that I absolutely love: Sleight of Hand, Graphic Design, & FAST FOOD! I have been performing sleight of hand for more than 5 years now, and I thought to myself, why not combine all my hobbies together and create my very first deck of playing cards. After countless trials and errors, I have illustrated what I think combines the fast food culture with playing cards – Welcome to FFP! The Fast Food Playing Cards.

🪐 Features:
– Limited to 2500 Each. Comes in 2 Version – Tomato Ketchup and French Fries
– The tuck case of the French Fries is made with Premium Matte Finish Paper, Printed on both sides, and Die Cutted to mimic an actual French Fries Box.
– Fully custom court cards representing the Fast Food Culture
– Printed by USPCC with their Premium Bee Crush Stock, Air-cushion Finish
– Both versions are Suit Marked – Allowing you to identify any suit of any given card from the back.
– Multiple Hidden Magic Reveals and routines for you to discover

🪐 French Fries:
The tuck case of the French Fries Edition is “Die Cutted” to look and serve as an actual packaging of a pack of fries. The entire tuck case is redesigned throughout its structure to make it look like a French fries packaging. There are even list of ingredients and barcodes on the packaging that might put a smile on your face. Each French Fries Edition comes with an extra “French Fries” Card, when you place the card in front of the tuck case, the entire deck will be displayed as a pack of French Fries.

🪐 Tomato Ketchup:
The best friend of a pack of fries is the ketchup, and I have never eaten a pack of fries without ketchup on it. The tuck case of the ketchup is designed to include everything you might see on a ketchup pack, but with more hidden details. When you look closely at the back of the tuck case, you will see what might first look like a regular list of ingredients, but upon closer inspection, you can see all the words are related to a deck of playing cards. There is also a hidden reveal at the barcode where you can perform your beloved prediction routines.

🪐 The Ketchup and French Fries are both designed differently, while the Fries are more vivid in the contrast of colours, the Ketchup is more fluid-like with its shape and swirls. Both back designs follow a streamlined design that when you fan or spread out the cards, the borders form a uniform pattern that is guaranteed to be an eye candy of display.

🪐 Throughout the design process, I have considered it to be both suitable for magicians and cardist, so that one does not get distracted by the artwork but can still find the playfulness representing the fast food culture.

🪐 Did I not mention that these cards are marked? That’s right, each edition is carefully marked by suits where you can identify any given suit of any given card at a blink of an eye. For detailed instructions on how to read the markings, please head to our Marking System section at the bottom.

🪐 To elevate the overall dining experience at FFP, I proudly announce that the FFP Tomato Ketchup and French Fries GILDED Editions are now available as add-ons! Both Gilded Edition Decks are limited to 150 decks each.

🪐 The court cards of the Ketchup and French Fries is one of my favourite highlights while designing the decks. I have taken my own experience while eating at multiple fast food chains to illustrate each court card that best represents themselves. Some are even inspired by famous fast food chains with my own touches on the design.

🪐 You can find a nice old chef on the King of Spades munching on a pack of fries; you can find the Queen of Diamonds slurping on some fries dipped in Ketchup. Can you spot any of your favourite fast food chains? If you look close enough on the Jack of Spades, you can also find a magic reveal on the splash of Ketchup he squeezed out.

🪐 I have always kept my Jokers wherever I get a pack of cards, but I realized that most of us only use the jokers when they are duplicates to perform routines. Therefore, I have decided to design my own jokers that allows me to perform visual tricks, and makes it even fun to look at.

🪐 Each edition comes with THREE Jokers! The three jokers tell a continuous action of either finishing up a pack of fries, or emptying a ketchup bottle. When you select 1 Pair or more in your rewards, you will have the access to my multiple tutorials which also includes routines that are made just for the French Fries and Ketchup.

🪐 The ace of spades is outlined with the classic suit with Fries and Ketchup mixed up in the middle like you would see in a fast food commercial. The rest of the aces are also infused with different details representing their contents of ingredients. If they don’t make you hungry enough, the next one I’m showing you is guaranteed to make you crave for these decks.

🪐 The number cards for the French Fries edition is coloured accordingly to the back design. With the hearts and diamonds in crunchy gold, and the spades and clubs with its classic colour with a streamline glare.

🪐 While the number cards of the Ketchup Edition kept the classic look and it is designed to look like as if the hearts and diamonds are dipped into tomato ketchup.

🪐 I dedicate this section to magicians like myself. I have always wanted a deck that has a lot of hidden reveals that allows me to perform multiple routines, now with the FFP decks, there are almost endless possibilities that you can do with a “normal” pack of decks. Alongside with all the hidden details, both editions are suit marked cleverly so you can identify the suit of each card with a blink of an eye.

🪐 If you back 6 decks or more, you will receive the FFP Crispy Combo Half Brick Box.

🪐 The Fast Food Playing Cards – Tomato Ketchup and French Fries will be printed by the United States Playing Card Company. AIR CUSHION Finish with the BEE CASINO GRADE PAPER, CRUSHED. These cards are made responsibly, with sustainable forest papers, starch-based laminating, and vegetable-based inks. Made in the USA.

🪐 The stickers and the Crispy Combo Half Brick Box will be made by Riffle Shuffle Playing Card Co. They have been producing high quality half brick boxes.
